Rollercoasters here we come!

We went to Rockville Hometown Holidays on Memorial weekend. Vinnie and I have been frequenting these holiday events way before we had kids or were even married. We used to go for the evening concerts (us crazy kids!) but have switched to the daytime kid-friendly fair. Lots of food, rides, art, music and more!

It was super fun and Annabelle went on her first carnival ride. I am very excited because I need someone to ride rollercoasters with me. Vinnie has nausea/migraine issues and isn't a good rollercoaster candidate. My girls will have to step up to the plate.

Arriving at the fair.

Waiting for the swing ride. We are never sure if Annabelle is going to go through with the ride. There have been many time when she backed out so hopefully it will be a go!

Success!!! Whoo hoo! It was really fun. She even smiled and laughed! Rock and Roll!

A wave to Dada

A quick video of all of the fun.

A huge plate of mac and cheese. I promise she didn't eat all of this!

She fed her dada...

...and he fed her too. They love to eat together.

Me and my girls!

Annabelle also went in many bounce houses. Another shocker. She loves these things but chickens out a lot. We were super proud because there were a lot of big kids (acting nuts) and she was very brave. It was like she got into Princeton (New Jersey represent) or something. We were running around with excitement trying to get pictures.

And look at our little girl climbing! Can I cry now?

And down the big slide!

And no surprise. Summer slept the entire time.

Check out this very scary bounce house! She conquered this one too!

Have you ever seen a more handsome Dada and beautiful girl? My gosh I am lucky!

Notice how much bigger the other kids are. Luckily the even bigger kids got on in the wave in front of Annabelle. They acted like maniacs in there and would have bounced Annabelle right out of the house!

Annabelle was very happy to meet this crab. She kept wanting to go back over and see him. Strangely he didn't talk to us- Ha! He just stood there mute- probably not happy about being in the big suit on a hot day :)

Vinnie got worried about Summer and took her out. The noise or light didn't phase her. She just slept more on his shoulder. Silly Summer!
